American Heart Association recognized Gandhi Alumni International Training Centre at Alumni Education Centre.
Improvement Efforts in Emergency Room (casuality) by GMCGA & GMCAA in collaboration with You See Foundation(Gunaranjan) and with other entities like EKAM foundation, Seva Bharati, CDK Global, GE volunteers and other charitable organizations.
Over the past decade numerous educational activities were held at the AEC ( Alumni Education Center). We achieved our most important milestone on Dec 14th 2016. The Gandhi Alumni American Heart Association International Training Center was officially inaugurated by Dr. B. Karunakar Reddy, Vice Chancellor KNR University of Health Sciences and Ms. Liza Douglas, National and International Programs Director (AHA). Dignitaries includes Dr. B.S.V. Manjula Principal GMC, Dr. Venkateswara Reddy Supdt. Gandhi Hospital, Mr. Nihaj Mohammed- AHA India Consultant graced the occasion. GMCAA alumni stalwarts Dr. Raja Reddy, Dr. K. Lingaiah, Dr.K. Ramesh Reddy and President Dr.B. Pratap Reddy were in attendence. Click here to view the pictures of the event.
American Heart Association, BLS and ACLS provider and instructor courses were offered by local instructors and US faculty - Dr. Murthy, Dr. Dwaraknath, Dr. Florence, Dr. Ravinder Surakanti and Mr. Dennis (EMT-P). A group of us took advantage of staying in the well appointed faculty rooms while avoiding the daily commute to the training center. During the 10 day training marathon (Dec 10th 2016 to Dec 22nd 2016), 150 Provider and 19 instructor candidates were successfully trained and certified. Click here to view the pictures of the event.
